Jens Hjortkjær received an MA degree in 2007 and a PhD degree in 2011 within music perception from University of Copenhagen. In 2012, he joined the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) at the Copenhagen University Hospital Hvidovre to work on functional imaging of the auditory system. In 2013, he joined DTU as a postdoctoral researcher in the Oticon Centre of Excellence for Hearing and Speech Sciences. His research focuses on functional neuroimaging and electrophysiology of the central auditory system.
