Sensory and Neural Technology is one of five overarching research areas that together define DTU Health Tech. The remaining four include Digital Health, Personalised Healthcare, Precision Diagnostics, and Diagnostic Imaging.

Sensory and Neural Technology is mainly focused on hearing technology but with a strategic development area within sensory and motor function in humans. Additional areas of research include auditory profiling, brain stimulation and signaling analysis and brain monitoring.
