Cell Lab

A facility for cultivating microbial and mammalian cells, designed to support real-time metabolic studies using hyperpolarized NMR.

The Cell Lab supports the cultivation of microbial and mammalian cells for metabolic and biophysical studies. Equipment includes shaking incubators for yeast and bacteria, CO₂ incubators for mammalian cells, and a bioreactor for tightly controlled cultures between 50 and 300 mL.

Its proximity to the hyperpolarization and NMR labs enables fast transfer of living samples, allowing dynamic cellular processes to be monitored in real time using DNP-enhanced NMR.
