Project Description: 
The main objective of this project is to use a Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasound Transducer (CMUT) for laparoscopic 3D ultrasound images with a coded excitation scheme optimized for Contrast Enhanced UltraSound imaging (CEUS).

Perspective:
Accurate 3D ultrasound model of organs will be a huge advantages during surgery for real-time navigation. Currently the competing imaging modalities for 3D models, are based on CT and MR which takes around 30-60 minutes.
