Join us next Monday for two invited talks on advanced cardiac imaging and ultrasound simulation.
10:00 – Jan D’Hooge (KU Leuven)
High-frame-rate cardiac imaging
Jan will present recent 2D and 3D developments in high-frame-rate imaging, along with clinical evidence from his lab that supports its added diagnostic value and its path toward commercial ultrasound systems.
11:00 – Damien Garcia
Vortex quantification & harmonic field simulation
Damien will first review the evolution of intraventricular vector flow mapping (iVFM), from physics-based methods to AI-driven clinical tools. He will then introduce SIMUS, an open-source framework for simulating nonlinear harmonic ultrasound fields.
All are welcome!
