Precision of In Vivo Pressure Gradient Estimations Using Synthetic Aperture Ultrasound
Tuesday 28 January 2025
Measuring the pressure difference across arterial plaques can yield critical diagnostic insights, yet acquiring these measurements non-invasively with high precision has long been a challenge. In this latest work, we introduce a pressure gradient estimation framework based on synthetic aperture ultrasound and validate its high-precision performance in healthy participants.
By demonstrating the feasibility of precise, non-invasive pressure gradient assessments, this breakthrough paves the way for improved diagnostic workflows and could significantly enhance the clinical evaluation of vascular diseases.
