FPGA board for sampling during MRI

MRI acquisition

We do research improving MR scanning, e.g. with respect to speed, robustness, sensitivity or specificity. Hardware and sequences for imaging and spectroscopy are developed and applied.

The employed methods range from fundamental physics to advanced data processing techniques needed to extract important physiological parameters from the measurements. The targets of the development include imaging, spectroscopy, and multi-modal acquisition, e.g. for muscle and brain studies. Ultra hifh field MRI and MRS are a particular focus.

Our research is carried out from both DTU and Danish Research Center for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) at Copenhagen University Hospital, where we have access to MR scanners.
