Project Description: 
Super resolution ultrasound is a burgeoning process allowing ultrasound to go beyond the traditional limits in resolution allowing non-destructive medical imaging of even the smallest blood vessels. This process takes a long time to compute, however, as the data rates can grow into the terabytes range.

Perspective:
GPU Processing in Super Resolution Ultrasound Imaging is a project focused on taking new cutting edge ultrasound algorithms and implementing them on graphics processing units in order for processing to happen at a rate that will allow these new techniques to be investigated in a clinical setting and for the related research to happen at a more rapid pace in general.
