Bastian Epp received a BEng degree in Engineering Physics in 2004, a MSc degree in Engineering Physics in 2006, and a PhD degree in Physics in 2010 from Oldenburg University. He was working as a postdoctoral researcher at the medical school at the University of Magdeburg before joining DTU as Assistant Professor in 2011, where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015.
Bastian is fascinated about nature and especially physics and biology. His research specializations include physiologically motivated auditory modeling of especially the auditory periphery, electrophysiology, physiological acoustics and nonlinear dynamics in hearing.
