Initiated in 2001, the MUT Workshop (Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers) has taken place almost every year, in various cities across Europe.
The MUT workshop event aims to bring together researchers and students from academia and industry worldwide to share knowledge, exchange ideas, present results and discuss perspectives on the advancement of Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers.
Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers has continued to evolve with a significant number of innovations such as advanced manufacturing processes, development of new active and passive materials, and increasingly sophisticated electronics embedded in ultrasonic devices enabling a wide range of novel applications.
This year the workshop takes place on Campus at the Technical University of Denmark located in the Copenhagen area in Denmark.

The registration fee is €378 and includes refreshments, lunch both days, participation in the gala dinner, as well as transportation and guided tour at the Kronborg castle. You can be accompanied by a friend or family member. This can be selected during the registration process. The price is €200, including transportation, guided tour at Kronborg and dinner. Your registration will only be confirmed once payment is completed.
Registration must be completed at May 29 2026 latest.

Social program
A guided tour of Kronborg Castle is planned, including highlights of the main halls and a short introduction to the castle’s history. Afterwards, we’ll gather for a relaxed dinner at Marienlyst in Helsingor, with delicious food, views of the Øresund, and time to network. Transportation will be provided by the organizers, and it will be possible to bring a companion.

If you want to stay near DTU (in walking distance), we recommend the hotel Four Points Flex by Sheraton, Lyngby.
Alternatively you can book a hotel room in central Copenhagen and go back and forth from Copenhagen to Lyngby by public transportation. You should expect app. 30-40 minutes each way.
Getting there
DTU's main campus is located in Lyngby 15 km north of Copenhagen. You can reach the main campus by car or by public transportation.
By bus or train
Several busses cross or pass the campus area and Lyngby Station is just 2 km away with even more bus connections.
